This is a small tree/ tall shrub that is native to Australia.

It has a multitude of pink fringed flowers in spring and summer, followed by blue berries in autumn; hence it’s common name. 

It is easy to maintain requiring low watering once established. 

Protect from frost when young. 

Can also be used in rain-forest gardens.
