This species Lilac is Spring flowering.
Large feather duster-like heads of pink/silver/mauve flowers with a lovely perfume.
It's flowers are 30cm in diameter.
In Autumn the leaves turn yellow and the plant is dormant over Winter.
A good specimen or border plant.
Height to 3m. Width to 3m.
Full sun to part shade.
Frost tolerant & drought hardy.

My order arrived yesterday in very good condition, the paper was still wet and plants are moist. I will not plant out until the weekend as we are having a very hot spell here with some schools being closed for the fear of bush fires.
