Guinea hen flower, Fritillaria meleagris, is an ornamental spring flowering bulb. Fritillaria meleagris is one of about 100 species in the genus Fritillaria, a group of herbaceous bulbs in the lily family (Lilaceae). The name meleagris means "spotted like a guinea fowl".
Height to 30cm
Sold as a bulb or as a plant, depending on when purchased.

My order arrived yesterday in very good condition, the paper was still wet and plants are moist. I will not plant out until the weekend as we are having a very hot spell here with some schools being closed for the fear of bush fires.
