This is a new Australian variety, which carries a spicy, woody aroma and flavor with a citrus under note. The name stems from the reddish hue cones that exhibit as they emerge from the early stage of development. Good for the hot climate grower.

My order arrived yesterday in very good condition, the paper was still wet and plants are moist. I will not plant out until the weekend as we are having a very hot spell here with some schools being closed for the fear of bush fires.
