Fennel's white bulb, stalks and feathery green leaves give a light taste of aniseed. When cooked, the flavour becomes sweeter and more mellow. Excellent in salads or cook in soups and vegetable dishes.

My order arrived yesterday in very good condition, the paper was still wet and plants are moist. I will not plant out until the weekend as we are having a very hot spell here with some schools being closed for the fear of bush fires.
