Hymenocallis harrisiana is a rarely-seen spider lily that originated from low swampy areas around the region that is now Mexico City, where it is still widely cultivated. The fast-multiplying, tight clumps of Hymenocallis harrisiana make a nice ephemeral spring addition to the moist garden.
