Hymenocallis harrisiana - St Nicholas Star Spider Lily

Hymenocallis harrisiana is a rarely-seen spider lily that originated from low swampy areas around the region that is now Mexico City, where it is still widely cultivated. The fast-multiplying, tight clumps of Hymenocallis harrisiana make a nice ephemeral spring addition to the moist garden.

Full sun to part shade

Spring flowering.

Summer dormant.

Sent as a bulb in winter and as a plant in spiring/ summer.
